The Dangers of Yohimbe

The Dangers of Yohimbine

Yohimbine, also known as yohimbe, has been trumpeted as the Natural Viagra. It sounds great, from what you've heard - harder erections than you've ever imagined. But with a long list of dangerous side effects, you'll hardly be in the mood for sex even if your body's telling you otherwise.

Yohimbe is the bark of a west-African evergreen tree that yohimbine, the active ingredient, is derived from. Yohimbine is the extract used for pharmaceutical purposes, and is the active ingredient in curing cases of male impotence. While it is being used for this function, yohimbine has not officially been approved as an erectile dysfunction medication, despite it being a prescription-only drug. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis.

In no circumstance should yohimbine be taken if you are on anti-depressants. Others who should especially avoid yohimbine are those who suffer from angina, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, high blood pressure, or mental illnesses including depression.
There have been no official studies of yohimbe, the bark that contains a small amount of yohimbine.

The effectiveness of yohimbine have been inconclusive, and somewhere between 10-30% of men experienced side effects in the studies. Side effects include, but are not limited to: dizziness, vomiting, headache, tremors, anxiety, irritability, sweating and restlessness. It is possible to overdose on yohimbine with serious consequences. The side effects are usually mild and short-lived.

It is possible to overdose on yohimbine; seek immediate medical attention if you suffer from irregular or fast heartbeat, confusion or abnormal behaviour, or any sort of allergic reaction.

There's no need to lose hope though. There are a number of plants that have been used as aphrodisiacs for thousands of years all over the world that deliver results. Try an all-natural male enhancement supplement, like Enzyte. It's 17 ingredients include saw palmetto, zinc, horny goat weed, tribulus, and L-arginine, to name a few. Just one pill daily delivers harder, longer erections. Better yet, they're completely safe - no side effects at all.

The Straight Dope on Goji Berry Juice

Goji Berries

I recently stumbled across the following informative article about the Goji Berry, a potent supplement in my diet which keeps my mojo flowin':)
Wikipedia Begin Quote:
"Since the early 21st century, the names "Himalayan Goji berry" and "Tibetan Goji berry" have become common in the global health food market, applied to berries claimed to have been grown or collected in the Himalaya region [26] (or sometimes "the Tibetan and Mongolian Himalayas"[27], a misnomer because the Himalayas do not extend into Mongolia, which lies approximately 1500 km (1000 miles) to the northeast)[28]. Although none of the companies marketing such berries specifies an exact location in the Himalayas or Tibet where their berries are supposed to be grown, Earl Mindell's website states that his "Himalayan" Goji products do not actually come from the Himalayas, but instead from Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, and the Tian Shan Mountains of western Xinjiang, China[29].
Although Lycium species do grow in some regions of Tibet, commercial export production of wolfberries in the Tibetan Himayalas must be a myth[11] fabricated for a marketing advantage, as this mountain range bordering the Tibetan Plateau is a region inhospitable to commercial cultivation of plant foods of any kind. In the Himalayan foothills, bleak desolation is unrelieved by any vegetation beyond sparse, low bushes[30], whereas eastern valleys and plains of the Tibetan Plateau at lower altitude support growth of wild Lycium chinense[31].
The Tibetan Plateau, comprising most of Tibet north and east of the Himalayas, lies at more than 3000 m (10,000 ft) in altitude, with poor soil and arid climate conditions unfavorable for fruit crops. Defined by the geography of Tibet, particularly in the western Himalayas, cold nighttime temperatures averaging -4°C year round [32] with six months of continual frost[33] would inhibit plant bud development and prevent fruit formation. Existing in Tibet are minimal subsistence agriculture and impoverished crop management and transportation facilities unsupportive of commercial berry production. Although limited fertile regions suitable for food crops exist in the valleys of Lhasa, Shigatse, Gyantse, and the Brahmaputra River, there are no objective economic, scientific, or government reports on the commercial production of Lycium berry species from these Tibetan regions[34]."Wikipedia End Quote
Ok, so if you look for these magic berries using Google Maps you won't find them budding up in the Himalayan Mountains being picked by Tibetan monks for the Dali Lama! Perhaps online marketers have exaggerated a bit about where exactly these berries come from, maybe it is not all that important, especially when they are basically from that region after all.
What is important for us here at The Fetish Advocate is that the Goji berry has an amazing ability to put some extra "lead in your pencil" as well as increase your overall sperm count (citing wikipedia article)!
Increased sperm count means stronger orgasms folks as well as BUKKAKE party nights more frequently cum laude!
I am all for adding additional fruits, vitamins, herbs, veggies, natural supplements, et. al. to my sex health diet. Typically when we think of health food we focus on foods for the heart, foods without too much fatty cholesterols, etc. Rarely do we think that our sex organs require special nutrition for maximized performance. Goji Juice is certainly one such product.

Cure Erectile Dysfunction Naturally

Cure Erectile Dysfunction Naturally

Erectile Dysfunction, or ED, is a sexual dysfunction that will affect 20% of American men at some time in their life. Whether the problem is temporary or chronic, it is a condition that greatly affects a male's self-worth.

Your physical or emotional health may likely be the biggest barrier between you and a satisfying erection. While medical attention may be necessary, particularly if erectile difficulty is a symptom of a greater medical issue that has gone undiagnosed, there are many things you can do to cure ED yourself, naturally. It's easier than you think; just follow these few suggestions.

Smoking causes impotence because nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, tightening blood vessels and restricting blood flow. Drinking is well-known to cause the dreaded 'whiskey-dick,' in which too much alcohol has been consumed to maintain an erection.

Reaching your sexual peak isn't just about taking out the negative, though - it's about creating a healthy lifestyle. Too many of us forget that erections are a process of the body, and to reach peak erection results your body must also be in peak condition. A well-balanced diet, with as little processed sugars and refined foods as possible, and a few hours of exercise a week will do wonders for your sex life. Regular exercise, between three to five hours a week, has proven to reduce the chances of impotence by 30% according to a Harvard Health Professionals Follow-up Study (HPFS).

We all know sleep is important, for a variety of reasons; for example, sleep deprivation affects your mood, memory, and concentration. It also affects your erection. Sleep deprivation is a common reason for being unable to maintain an erection. So be sure to get enough sleep. While 'enough' fluctuates from person to person, that's about seven to eight hours a night.

There are a number of herbs that have been used as aphrodisiacs for thousands of years, and are recommended by doctors. An herbal supplement takes the guess work out of ingredients and dosage, containing all you need in one single capsule taken daily. We recommend Magna RX. It contains 17 key ingredients, like horny goat weed, also known as epimedium, used in traditional Chinese medicine as an aphrodisiac for centuries, and L-Arginine, an amino acid that dilates the blood vessels and increases blood flow. There are no side effects to taking Magna RX; it's completely safe and natural.

Temporary erectile dysfunction is most commonly caused by psychological factors, such as stress, worry, or guilt. Try addressing any negative feelings that may be keeping you from focusing on the task at hand. There are registered sexual therapists who are trained in these situations.
